hi yall

just wanted to say hey to all yall.i live in the south somewhere. he he i have ordered the stuff i can't but to build my first reflux still and im going to be putting it together in about a week or so if yall want to see my horriable building skills :ebiggrin: . as you can tell im after neutral sprits for a start. ive always wanted to do this for as long as i can rember, hell i remember i was in like 5-6 grade drawing still on paper so quite a few years later im finally building one.

Welcome to the site. Are you building a still or ordering one? I suggest building one, this hobby is about creating something for yourself. Creating some liquor from a still you built form the ground up is only more gratifying. You are going to need a lot of ice for your water recirculation, it really surprised me the on my first run how much ice I needed. Luckily there is a mini-mart a block from my house.

im building my own, i had to order all the 2" copper pipe, couldn't find any around where im at unless it was 20 foot long and a price tag of $250 :shock: . now to empty a good keg... thats gona be easy and fun

Simple potstiller. Slow, single run.
(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)
