Looking for a still maker in Christchurch

Post by SMOKEU »

Does anyone here know of anyone in Christchurch who can build me a reflux column to bolt onto my still?

Good coppersmith

If I'd live in that part of the world (bad luck I'm on the opposite :( ) OldDog would be my favorite coppersmith.

He has the time, knowledge and patience and what I've seen so long is pure copper art.

The cost of postage would be more than the value of the still. Plus what do you put on the outgoing customs declaration?,
perhaps Kiwi knows someone in NZ who can help, after all it's legal there.

I got my setup made and shipped from oz. it was dear.

Rednose, we're about 5000km from olddogs legendary production facilities unfortunately. long way from anywhere here, it's the most isolated country in the world :(

there was a chch member who was in the auto industry and made himself up a boka and such, he might be able to help, I'll see if I can find his user name.

I would have thought there would be plenty of still builders in NZ as its legal.
Perhaps there could be a coarse on Still Building and Distillation, at your local technical college
