I coudn't find a section to post about this theme so off topic should be ok, even if that's the only legal reason to have a still in most countries (less the one where I live ).
Today I made the first run with a special designed boiler for extracting essential oils.
I loaded it with 50 Kg of third class quality lemon (own harvest) and got a reasonable quantity of oil out.
It's in the freezer now to separate it a little more from the water.
I had several leaks in the lid of the boiler, the material to screw it together didn't arrive yet.
I used highest power with a big 80.000 BTU propane burner.
Any comments wellcome.
