That is fucked up.

Who the hell is suffering from "moral decay" here indeed.

If 100% of most people's incomes did not have to be used to just barely survive, then self medicating might not................................never mind.

Betcha no 10,000 people never died from no shine made by any group of illegal distillers combined. You don't get repeat customers that a way.
Trample the injured and hurdle the dead.

Goverment interests are sometimes weird.

I never will understand that the US goverment is not able to control that several dozens of tons of cocain enter daily in their territory.

How they want to control that a nuclear bomb or chemical weapons (presents from Bin Laden and Co.) with less volume enter?

Might there be any interests?

I'm not very religious Blanik, but my father always said that if everybody follow the ten rules of Moses we would not have the need of prisons.

That's how I manage my life, respect and be respected.

Life is great but short, let's always make the best out of it.

Believe it or not Joe, I'm actually a practising Buddhist and our precepts are basically the same as those of Moses, but sometimes it's bloody difficult to be 'perfect'.

I find that I occaisionally get pushed to my absolute limits, hence my sometimes brutal posts, but they are meant to help people to avoid them harming themselves, and others. Can't win 'em all. :|

While my mind is heavily steeped in Taoism ( or a variant of it), My belly has achieved Buddhist perfection and I am regularly mistaken for a God...;)

On a more serious note, if everyone would just take the time to include a little common sense and understanding in their daily life, I think the world would be much better off.
The recent rises in terrorism leads my heart to believe that this is not the case, however.
