Surfing around last night I came across an interesting site tracing the history of moonshining in the Virginia Blue Ridge. I did a search and I don't think it has been posted here before, so here it is.

(50 litre, propane heated pot still. Coil in bucket condenser - No thermometer, No carbon)
The Reading Lounge AND the Rules We Live By should be compulsory reading

that is a great article .... here in Va it seems like everyones grandad n daddy all had there own secrets to the shine. n what yall dont know is its still runnin wild today , especially since the budget cuts
