I'm starting a wash Based around a recipe i got sent on the yahoo new distillers forum that sounds promising. I'm modifying it somewhat, incorporating rad14701's All-Bran/Gerber ingredients as i've really been pleased with the results of the two runs i've done.
my basic list of ingredients are as follows;
NaTaS' "Monster" Mash-20 litres
5 Kg. white cane sugar (inverted)
4 tablespoons 7-7-7 liquid plant food
1 can Monster Energy Drink
125 ml molasses
4 cups organic barley baby cereal
1 tsp marmite (just can't get away from it. it's been my lucky charm so far. the one batch i left it out of turned out just good enough to clean paint brushes with!)
2 sachets Red Star Champagne yeast (my last two before I try regular bakers yeast. I bought 'em figure might as well use 'em)
I plan on putting this one down today and will post the results when it's finished. The theory is the B vitamins, and amino acids used in the production of the energy drink provide excellent yeast building nutrients and the nitrogen from the plant food will feed the little beasties very well. Not new theory, just standing on the shoulders of other hobbyists in order to improve my results.

Natas' "Monster" mash
If we wake up after drinking good, if we wake up and can still see, even better.
