Copper scrubbers weren't copper!!!

they were just coated with copper. is my shine still safe to drink?

why would someone bother to coat scrubbers with copper? Are u sure it isnt normal copper discoloration ?

I've had not-copper scrubbers before like this. Someone certainly bothers to make them.

after a few weeks in the column, (i forgot I shoved them up there) they were almost disentigrated.

I would never drink anything and say "I think its safe to drink???"
