ice water still

i was looking at the ice water still like the one in Brewing Real Schnaps Without a Still. i was wondering if anyone had any idea what height would be best to have the collection pan inside the pot at. i like the design cause i can stash it from my snoopy ahole landlord

What Ayay said is good advice, do a little reading here at HD...
You can make a very good/small apartment still that will do the job alot better...

Stop by the Welcome Center... and tell us a little about yourself...
Although that still will work, it is alot more dangerous than some of the designs here, safety first man...

Given your very brief post, we caution on the side of Safety... here at HD and would rather you done a little research to familiarize yourself with the concept of home distillation... If you still want to build that kind of still after that, then thats fine... At least you'll know the dangers...
