My Pot Still

Here is a pot still I have just knocked up and a Parrot. Have not tried it yet but would like to do some UJSSM and Hook rum in the future after doing a few more runs on the Boka.

My parrot is very similar, because of the shape I get an airlock in it that I solve by forcing air back through as it is filling up otherwise it leaks out the intake. Also what did you use for the base of your parrot looks very nice?

That "area" is the kitchen in my shed, we lived in there for 8 months while the house was being built.

The parrot works ok with water, have not tried it with spirit yet. The base is a 2" brass locknut and male bsp to 2" solder fitting, screwed together with the locknut back to front it makes a good heavy base.

Thanks, great looking shop with plenty of toys. Be careful if you are in a location that it is not legal to distill showing off the license plate of the motorcycle!
