So 3D visualization is my business but I also like messing around in 3D CAD. This is a stainless flute still in its early design stage. So this way I can make sure everything fits together, might put some more fancy fittings and depending on cost can modify the design if i go overboard.
The thing with CAD is you can go crazy with elaborate designs whilst forgetting ' how am I going to actually manufacture this'.
I am hoping to get one of these 50 litre drums and weld a 101mm (4inch) ferrule directly onto the lid as you can see. if I find a CAD model tri clamp ill stick it in the design, I just couldn't be bothered modelling it myself. ive indicated My ceiling so I can keep an eye on how much room left.
I'll render a photoreal image once I have some more interesting bits on it
