Was recently given 3 boxes of Cornflakes, which I cannot stand, so I thought I would try the cornflake wash. I read the blurp about it. 19L water, 10 pounds sugar, and as much cornflakes as desired. I'm interested in fooling around with this one, but no yeast quantity was given. I'm a stickler for complete recipes!!
Judging by the recipe I'm guessing that if I use my favorite yeast, EC-1118, i will need 5-10g of said yeast?
Would that be enough yeast?
What about using distiller's yeast on this one?
Has anybody ever made this?
I'm not too keen on the idea of bread yeast for this, just an FYI!
I'll give the cornflakes to my chickens before I would ever use bread yeast again for anything except bread in all honesty.
Much thanks to all who reply!!
