Neutral vodka and effect of more water

Post by Nightforce »

I'm preparing to run a DWWG run through the bok for a clean neutral spirit. I've got about 3 gallons of ~42% stripped DWWG and I'm wondering if it will be better to make another batch of wash, strip it and run with what I've got, or will diluting back to 10-15% with lots of water and running as a spirit run dilute the off flavors more and produce a much cleaner distillate?

I was also toying with the idea of doing a few more DWWG washes, stripping them out, combining with what I've got, strip again, then diluting back to <20% and running in the bok.

Not sure if that would be over kill tho.
