I have had a few good friends that have had me hooked on their own creations for the last 5 years up in the Pacific Northwest, but recently had to move to AZ for work. Which has left me dry in more than a couple ways. So I decided its time to make my own blend to enjoy. I have been studying the forums for the last month and picked out what seemed to be the more popular still and inline with my craftsmanship abilities, the bokakob. I am still in search of a good boiler (15.5gal Keg), but I have the column and condenser almost complete. I built a double coil thats 8" long made out of 1/4" copper tubing that will be connected to 1/2" input/output fed by a pump. The the column is 2"pipe with a packed height of about 42" . Plates are positioned per montanadaves wiki write-up
top plate is 1"below the coil and the bottom plate is 1" below that w/ a 1/4" output line. I plan on using 100% copper or SS scrubbies for packing and will be heating this with a propane burner. My plan is to make whiskey and rum. Have I set myself up ok with this still?

What is the bokakob best for? My understanding was that it could be run as a pot and/or reflux still? Before I setup my boiler is there a way I can build the boiler set for both and have two different columns?
