needle valve composition

hello all. in my search for ss needle valves i have found many of the stem tips are chrome plated stainless steel. is this acceptable? this is the one i already purchased for my take off and i am pretty sure it's all stainless http://catalog.hoke.com/Asset/2100_SERIE.pdf" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow but i need another for the dump on the bottom of my parrot, and i found this http://www.ebay.com/itm/SS-1VS6-Integra ... 1c1ca366a2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow notice the chrome plating on stem... ??????????????????????????????? thank you.

I have one of the Hoke stainless ones. The tip is PCTFE which I am OK with.

The ebay one looks fine to me too. I don' think the chrome plating is a concern.

chrome is not a problem if it where then so whould stainless.as chrome is one of its main "anti corrosion" elements
