Hello members.
After doing a lot of research and reading I came up with the following drawings:
Figured that if I need to build a column I may as well do it well the first time.
I want to thank Samohon, Olddog, Kentucky, Nchook and Dan for their topics and information contained therein.
The plan is to make the column out of Stainless Steel. The inner parts will all be copper.
The plates in the coumn will be kept in place by a stainless steel thread rod. The plates can be removed because I won't solder them. In theory the 1000mm column can take 8 plates spaced 120mm apart but I don't think that many plates would be necessary.
The foot, column and dephlagmentor all have the same diameter tube and flanges, so if I want to run the column in Potstill mode I can remove the 1000mm plate column and put the dephlagmenter directly on the foot. Without cooling enabled this should function as a potstill then.
I would appreciate all comments and recommendations.
