Our First Mash with Coconut water

Post by MiddleOfNowhere »

Ok, off may recomandations form my prevous post with what to do with large supply of coconuts here is what is going on.

We are taking 8L(just over 2G) of coconut water and cooking it down to 5.5L. Currently smelling great much sweeter than when we started cooking it. We will let this sit over night and Next our plan is to take 1k (2.2lbs) of pure cane sugar and add it to 6L of water and bring it all to a boil and let it sit over night, or untill at room temp and at that point add about 1/4-1/2 cup of pure bakers yeast.
Once we have this all together we will let it sit for 4-8 days till fermentation is complete. While this is going on we will be finishing our still, hopefully...

Please let us know what you think.....
