Possible new sugar

So I was digging around in my pantry and found 4 bags of stale marshmellows and thought this might be a suffient source for sugar :think: So i thought maybe dissovle marshmellows in hot water? Any info welcome; dont mind being shot down either could be a bad idea haha

egg whites/gelatin/sugar dont sound like a good mix to me.

I just googled it and they said that modern marshmallows are made from a range of simple ingredients, but most typically include corn syrup, water and gelatin.

Seems like a lot more work than it's worth to get the simple sugar needed but an experiment is worth a 1000 opinions! :D

Didnt realize the possible egg whites, ok probably not my smartest idea but if there is ever a shortage of plain old sugar you guys will know what ill be using :D

stuff like that is generally is not worth bothering with,unless you could git a hole bunch for free.

I've done it with a bunch of free jelly beans - mission to dissolve them, stripped ok in with a bunch of other dag ends
Where has all the rum gone? . . .

How did it turn out? Did any of the flavoring agents in the jelly beans carry over?

A bit rough - better doubble run. no distinctive flavour
