I'm not sure if this is the right place...
I've done a mead recipe whereas rather than do the whole mead the normal way, I've blended the honey with spices and spirit watered down to 50%.
I've got a weird deposit on the inside of the tops of the bottles which I suspect is Wax. I'm using a very delicate and expensive Australian honey called Leatherwood and I'd rather not boil the wax off. Is there another method to remove wax from honey without losing flavour from boiling it?
