copper carbon filter
I decided to try and build a stone carbon filter. I had a few pieces of copper laying around so, here is what I did, I used a 2"x5/8" reducer, and a 16" piece of 3/4 pipe and soldered them together. I then annealed the other end of the pipe and squeezed it closed so that only a few drips to a small trickle would come out. I then filled it 1/2 full of washed activated stone carbon, and whalla. I used a piece of copper wire doubled and hooked it to my cabinet handle. I tried it on some brew with a little tails smell and it worked.
Chew on this: In 1920 During Prohibition, President Harding kept the White House well stocked with bootleg liquor.
