So I started with 18lbs of Mcintosh Apples which I peeled and cored I boiled the apples with 2 litres of apple cider ( I added another 2 litres of water) and boiled it all for about an hour 15 mins I strained the mash and took all the boiled apples and pureed them and put them back in the pot with 3kgs of white Sugar and 1 Kg of Dark brown sugar and just covered the top of everything with water ( about 2.5 litres) and heated the mix till all the sugar was dissolved then added that mix to the bucket and topped off with water ( its a 25L bucket) once it was cool enough to add yeast I put in 3 packages of Fleishmans bakeing yeast and 1 pkg Ec-118. Its been about 24 hours and Im going to check it and probably Rack it when I get home....
When I was done coring and peeling the apples I didnt want all that stuff to go to waste to I put all the cores and peels in a pot with about 5-6 litres of water and 4 kgs of White sugar with 1kg of corn meal and 1 kg of corn sugar and let it simmer for about an hour strained all the peels and cores out but left most corn meal in and dumped everythign into a bucket and added 3 pkgs of baking yeast and 1 EC-1118, I will also be checking this and most likley racking this as well, I'll add soem pictures when I am about to rack them
