Rum Yeast Failure

I have a batch of rum on the go. I bought "Liquor Quik, Rum Turbo Pure" yeast, and followed all the directions on the package and added it to the wash (25 Litres). Its been 5 days now and it hasn't bubbled once. Should I throw the whole thing out and start over with another yeast? any way to jumpstart fermentation? any point trying to use another yeast in the same wash?
