can you tell me how i make my 96% alcohol i have made !! stay at 96% :mrgreen: but !!! when it cools down it drops to 82% i need it to stay over 90%

It was not at 96%. It only 'appeared' to be like 96% due to being hot. Hot ethanol (and hot waterr), will have a lower specific gravity, and thus will appear like it is higher proof. The tool you are using is calibrated for readings at a specific temperature (either 68F or 20C) You either have to get your spirit you are testing down to the proper temperature, OR temp correction table.

Another slight possibility, is that you are losing 'some' of the ethanol, if the mixture is hot, due to evaporation.

this is my 3rd birdwatcher recipe
30 lt water
300 grams tomato past
1 lemon
81 grams yeast
7 k sugar
with a S.G 1.09 is there anyway i can change it ? so i can get 92% at 68f / 20c

its not the wash that determines the final proof its the still or how you run it.
if your still wont produce 96% try stripping , then do a spirits run..

sounds like you mite have a CM? ok anyway a stripping run is to run as fast as your still will operate,with or with out reflux,this reduces volume and increase ABV.
do this with several charges then dilute to or about 40%.rerun this time make cuts etc..
