OAKBARRELSLTD.COM

Post by ROD01 »

got to thank you guys for the reference to oakbarrelsltd.com in the aging threads.
i have been looking for some reasonably priced small barrels and they have them! :D
just ordered 2 of the 5 litre and 1of the 2 litre sizes(had to get over $99.95 for the free shipping to my friends place in Niagara Falls N.Y.)
just exited so had to post. the same size 5 litre barrels from a local place close to me in Canada is over $125.00 compared to $49.95 and doesn't include the stand or spigot.
I am not affilated with this vendor but wanted to let everyone know the great price.

I bought one of their 5 gal barrels about a couple of years ago. The only issue I had was the spigot and the bung both split on me. The barrel itself worked great though.

I have 2 of their 5.3 gallon barrels that ive used once each (and one of their 3 gallon ? That I haven't used yet). They've been great but I just filled one for the second time and noticed my spigot also cracked and has a small leak. The barrel is still perfect though. I have no problem ordering a new spigot for the great deal they offer.

My spigot didn't crack but one of the barrels formed a small leak on it's 3rd run.

Not the barrel but the spigot formed the leak, sorry about the confusion.
