The yeast will not necessarily need something to chew on I believe. If you're really worried, try to find the "healthiest" (i.e. fruit juice, natural fructose, corn syrup, etc.) to add to it if you must. I believe it only needs water to live for now (with your backset, cooled) and will get going again in that short amount of time. Hell, I've dumped a little Pepsi in a mason jar yeast culture once and it liked it fine...wouldn't suggest that for others.
I think you're ok man.

good to hear... its on its 4th generation and ive been read it only get better as time goes on. Would hate to ruin it now.

Finally was able to get a bit of down time last night and mixed a few drinks, prolly a few to many, from my first ever run(only run were i collected a bunch of little jars, the last 3 runs have all just gone into a gallon jug for a proper spirit run later) And WOW....I cant belive how good it turned out. Really good with dr.pepper. I cant wait to see how this stuff is after i get my spirit run done.

I would just add water, say 1/4 of what you will add in the end. Make sure your corn bed is covered. Then it should be able to wait until Monday to feed it properly.

It will get dramatically better with at least 24 hours of airing in a wide mouth jar with some cloth or a coffee filter rubber-banded over it. You'll be amazed.
