Just watched a show on telly tonight in NZ called "Country Calendar" where the dude was fermenting waste fruit and veg and distilling it in a solar powered still he had made.
No other energy input into the distillation process.
He was blending 50/50 with Petrol (gasoline) to run his farm machinery and car.
