Old Man, Saying HI! from the Sierra Nevada's

Post by hosedragger12 »

Hi all, never joined a forum before, but this one is a priority. Haven't received my duel reflux still yet, but have been studying for hours like I'm taking a final in college.
I'm going to start off with a sugar wash and see what happens. I consider myself as a vodka drinker / martini drinker, that can tell the difference, so my goal is to out perform the best of the commercial so called quality vodka's. I'll take all the input I can get from all of you who can relate. My wife loves Kessler, but will wait and educate myself on whiskey's, but if any one out there happens to created a recipe that comes close I'd love to here from you. Anyway HI to all, looking forward to your input.
:)

Great question....In relationship to the mountains, I'm on the Eastern side, but as the river flows (Feather River) I'm on the Western side. Sounds strange but It's true.
Very quick reply, thanks............

welcome aboard, no offence to your wife but i always considered kesslers as a very inferior whiskey. look around the tryed and true section here and you'll find some good ez recipes. eventually she will forget that rot gut stuff when you get good at making whiskey. theres some very good nuetrals to check into also. i use to only drink black velvet, last one i had at a freinds i just i did the ahhhggg, ill get a jar of good stuff outa the truck.
today marks the dawn of a new error.
