Re: Hello from south Florida!!
I have a keg and want to make some sorta still with it.... Thanks I am looking for step by step plans or something. Would like to try one with out the worm??
Re: Hello from south Florida!!
a keg is a good start. What kind of hooch do you like and wanna make, that will determine the type of still you make. say you like vodka a cheap and effective still woud be the boka, or you like whiskey then a pot still would be the way to go.

Thanks!! I am going to build a pot still for whiskey!!!
Re: Hello from south Florida!!
Build your still during the summer and you will be ready to still when the weather cools. I will still 1-2 x during the summer but it's hot as hell.

Re: Hello from south Florida!!
Lol thanks !!! And pics of ur still? I have been reading and reading on how the whole fermentation works and and terms and how to make mash and what parts of the mash I use....it's a lil confusing...any advise?
Re: Hello from south Florida!!
Once you start doing it, it will make since. Do one of the sugar washes ( wineo or bird watchers) and that will make it easy. Then move to ujssm. Then onto nhooch's bourbon. The speed that you advance will be based on your understanding. Read about sanitization, follow recipes, read about what's happening and you will get there.
