Going to try blackberry.

Post by Richard7 »

Yesterday I mentioned to my wife about how bad the blackberries were looking on our fence line, and how I didn't think I was going to try to do any thing with them this year. She kept talking about them through the day so I went out to have another look with a bucket for picking. Glad I did because they were doing better than I thought!

Ended up with about a gallon off of one picking so twenty or thirty more times and I'll have a great batch to try. I am looking at Taters post on berries as a guide on how to ferment these things. I sure am glad to have such a good resource (HD forums) to look stuff like this up. It's also great to have a wife who will help you pick berries for distilling!
