Greetings all,
I was wondering if anyone here has ever used liquid glucose as their mash? instead of sugar, molasses or whatever. For making neutral spirits.
Would you need to use twice as much or some other percentage, compared to table sugar (sucrose) since there is no fructose? Or does the yeast largely ignore fructose?

Re: Liquid Glucose
I use corn syrup in Belgian style beers sometimes and the yeast love it, but, like Dnder said, it's more expensive than plain old sugar. Cheaper in 55 gal drums but I'll never use that much.
