spirit run

just a quick question when doing my spirit run can i add say the dregs of some store bought tequila and vodka to give me more pure spirits or will this taint the flavour somehow

What is your spirit run? A nuetral or a flavored drink like whiskey/rum ?

If nuetral, you can add other leftovers to the spirit run. Flavored drink will be changed. It is hard to say if that change will be good or bad.

i ran the mixed dreggs seperately so i wouldnt taint my tpw neutral and it smelt like poison so i threw it out oh well but on the upside my neautral came out perfect

Cy, once you do a spirit run of low-wines on a highly refluxed still....the feints(dreggs) are normally very highly concentrated and squeezed out it's not usually productive to run them again. Now, if you have feints from "other" types of runs (pot stills, etc) THOSE you could probably re-run on a reflux still and you might get something out of it.
