posting pics

Post by googe »

Couldnt find site sugestions or a spot to put this so put it here. I think a better system of posting pics would be great. Every other stilling site im on, I can download pics direct without resizing. Very frustrating on here and stops me from posting many things.

This is a topic that HD Management address from time to time.
Posting piccies on HD can be an issue that is different for every member, but it all relegates to file-size and resolution.
At the moment, posting photos on HD could not be simpler and are posted similarly on all BBS and Forum software.
File-size and resolution is another discipline that is outside the scope of this post. A quick google search on this criteria will help to clear the confusion.
Remember that, not all members use the same size of screen or device to view the HD forums and HD is not responsive to lower screen resolutions.
Therefore, pictures are resized within the thread to give everyone the same benefit. As you know, clicking on a resized picture will expand it, don't see a problem with that.
Since I do not know what method you use to download a picture/diagram, I cannot comment.

Hope it helps...

Since I usually use my iPad now posting is different than with my PC. It took a little research but that is what this forum is about. I belong to several other forums and at least one similar to this also has a problem. They allow you to post but it fouls up all the text size and makes it hard to read. I am now used to this and actually like the look as it is easy to follow.

Just my thoughts.

I use Mihov image resizer.........It's free very easy to use, when you resize it just uses the same file name for the pic but puts " mini " in front of original file name
