I have been reading for a few hours now and havent found what Im looking for so i thought Id just go ahead and ask. When grinding malted corn, how fine or course do you want ? Also, in a 15 gal. wash I understand about 22.5 to 30lbs. grain. Of this how much should be malted? All of it or can I mix malted with cracked ? If so what percentages?
Okay. i think i found the answer to the malt Q. The percentage depends on th DP. Correct? If i was to add another grain into the mix, does it matter which is malted as long as I add enough of the malted grain to at least have an average DP of 30?
