apple wash has bad throat burn

Hi, I am getting prepared to distill 6 gal of apple sugar mash/wash. I decided to try some of the undistilled mash/wash as I have been each step of the way and this mash/wash burns my throat bad. I'm talking 2 shots burned my throat for 2-3 hours. I was planning on triple distilling. Will triple distilling smooth out the burn? or is there a trick to something to do with the burn? This is discussed alot durring cutting heads and tails, so is this a burn that will distill out. I was told some of this is due to the fruit. Is there a way to remove some of the burn or make it smoother or more tolerable? I was told some of this is due to the fruit? Thanks, Chris
