Two more for the arsenal

Post by DFitz »

Was fortunate enough to meet up with one of the Gibb brothers today... :D
Nice man! Easy in and out. Great to do business with these guys and come away with such fine craftsmanship. The ten gallon barrel will be filled with a rum I've been working on and set for a year or so. No char just a medium toast. The five gallon, medium toast and charred will wait for a chance to run & fill with NChooch's Bourbon, a great recipe and perfect for a barrel like this!

Soon enough... I'm still using a pot still but I'm gathering copper as I go about my business. I hope soon a flute will sprout forth. I had to get this out of the way first though. I would have much more liked to buy my 4" pipe but we have to consider priorities eh. I wonder if they'll fit under my tree when I get home.
