Water to Grain Ratio?

I have been looking for ratio for water to grain bill? Does anyone know what this is?

I use 1.5-2 lbs per gallon of water. More times closer to 2..

a sugar head is grain or other with sugar added to ferment.

Ok what would the water ratio be for both ways?

just fallow one of those recipes or others on tried and true,they are known to work.
don't dive in ,trying to make your own recipe until you under stand what your doing.
you will/can just git frustrated .

Yeah I have made several runs of uncle jesses, but I'm going to step up and make larger than 5gal. There's has to be some sort of ratio.

not rely any for sugar head,whatever gives the flavor you want.
but not hard to multiply each ingredient by?
or if the wash you want is not a multiple....
,divide all by the amount of wash,that gives you the amount per unit.
then multiply by how many units you want.

i use the ratio of 3 lbs to 1 gallon of water but i also lauter my wort and have had good success in achieving sg this way.

Read over grains in parent site you will find there what your asking.
