Why build just one

Post by PGHRedneck »

Built these over the last week. One for me one for a friend. And i still have enough to make a 2" boka.

Guess i will tell you about them too. Its 2" column the one steps from 2" to 1" then down to half before the 1" over 1/2" condensor. Which is about 36" long.
The other is 2" column to 1 1/2" to 1/2". I forgot to get two reducers so i am building another liebig with 1 1/2" over 1/2 with some type of ground wire or flites on the 1/2" inside to better transfer the heat from the inside. I'll add those pictures when i get there.

It was my first time ever soldering copper but i don't think i did that bad.

Going to go with the turkey fryer for now till i can afford to build a phase angle controller and unplug the dryer at home.

DAMN-IT, I never find those good deals. That even beats out the scrap yard. Nice find for sure.

Nice rig. With that quality of craftsmanship, would your skills be for hire? I'm local to the Burgh...

I think its better if you learn to build your own. I picked up everything to build them from here. And watched the videos on YouTube on how to solder copper. Its not to bas as long as you have the tools. The most important tool is knowledge. Build it right the first time do your homework all the answers are on here.

Fair enough. Appreciate you entertaining the thought, even if for a second.

Found another use for the strainer that came in my SS funnel. Works great to direct the stream in a constant steady downward flow.
