Step one: Read through these forums for about 2 months. Done.
Step two: Buy 10' of 2" copper from Menards for $82 with tax. Done.
More S L O W steps to come. Couldn't pass up the sale price at Menards though. Can't buy 5' online for that price. And the 2" is the big cost in the copper department. Going to end up with a 15.5 gallon keg electric powered pot still, liebig condenser. Will still have some 2" left over for a later reflux sill build. Viola! Interchangeable still heads!
Oh, BTW, normal price for my stick of 2" was $115 and change PLUS tax on top of that. Geez is copper expensive.....

Ten FEET of 2 inch copper pipe for $80?!? Do mine eyes deceived me? I'll take your two feet scrap for $20 plus shipping.
I think I misread that.
Addendum: I think I may be ignoring an exchange rate.

Yes, 10 feet of 2" copper pipe for just under $82 with tax. It was on sale at local Menards. Unfortunately, today was last day of the sale. Had I known sooner, would've posted about it. Local Menards would be in Champaign Illinois. Go to menards.com RIGHT NOW and ship to store price is still good. Probably only till midnight tonight though.
