Finally got it finished up. Just ran my first wash. It runs great. LWTCS gave me the idea for the keg. Thanks Larry.

Nice looking set up Tuckerroach,
The only problem I see is the height of the parrot. And the fact that it does not have a chance to breath (unless there is a vent that I can't see). With the parrot mounted that high, there will be a couple of inches in your condenser that will stay filled giving a place for smearing to happen.
As far as it not breathing, any positive pressure in your still will cause bubbles to go into the parrot and cause some pressure in your column.
Nice looking rig though.

Parrot is vented. Have another look.
But you are correct that the parrot needs to be lower than the vent holes in his "surge breaker".

I mounted the parrot after my first run. I'll have to lower it. It does have a vent. You can just see the little holes when it reduces down to the parrot. It's a stilldragon rig. I could add the stilldragon parrot, but wanted to save a few bucks and used my old one. Thanks for the input.

I was trying to cheat my parrot up as high as I could. I didn't know it could be too high. I might have to add a 45 above the condenser to raise everything up.

I'm liking the feet and the dump valve set-up! I think that I would have to have a locking valve though, just to keep some moron (me) from accidentally dumping the boiler.

That never even crossed my mind. Right now the valve is stiff, but that can change. Thanks for the heads up!

It's all StillDragon. It is a really nice still. So, yes it is the element guard kit and mount. It is a nice kit. I also did the DIY controller and it was simple also.
