My bok was done about 3 weeks ago but still needs alot, I mean ALOT of outside finishing... soldereing skills are not up to par and needed touch ups, which in turn melted first joints, etc.
So until I can find the time to give her some tlc, her name is Scarface... work real great tho :)

I shall name my new purchase "Haus" not all that original I am sure, but it works for me. I know.... don't murder me for purchasing, but I do not have the time and available materials right now to build, but I am sure I will some day.

If I had to pick a name I think it would be Karen, cause she reminds me of my wife(hot headed). So just to keep peace in the family I will call her Ginger

I've named her Bessy Lou, Bessy Lou is a sweetheart, after a little Fores(play), she gives a little head, then you get some likker and mess around a couple hrs., then she gives you some tails, you cool her down, clean her up and set her in the corner. She never gripes or complains, I love my Bessy Lou! :esmile: :esmile: :esmile:

Sounds like a girlfriend I had once...damn, now she's 50 this year with a body of a 25yo...always wonder if I should of got rid of her, awesome playtoy but wouldn't of made a good mother...but I digress.

Great name with a great analogy!

The speaker of my house named my new still yesterday . Keep in mind that I just finished fabricating it and started doing cleaning/test runs . Looking at it running as it should she said ,"That's Calvin . Dirty little bastard just stands there pissing all over everything ."

My first device is a two gallon pot still named "Baby". The one I'm putting together currently is "Goldilocks", because she's just right.

I'm an apartment brewer, and the half keg and tower just clear the ceiling over the stove by an inch.
Wash that won't fit in the kettle will fit in ice cube trays...just top them off with output water from the cooling line until there's enough output for a "hot martini".

I call both of mine Ghost. Most of the time when I run I drape a white sheet over them and hand it loosely over their shoulders (temp gauges and take off/leibig). Sight to see with the warm air rising and catching sail under the sheet-looks alive-iT IS!

Anyone, who has read any of my posts, knows I have a partner. We officially call ourselves Savaged Distillations. The current name of our still is, originally, "Boiler Number 1". Being born in 1979, I'm a displaced child of the 80's and 90's. So... I, myself, like to refer to our still as "Chester Copperpot". I know there will be a few who get it.
