Where to Get Bottles/Corks (just a few)

Post by MT Wildrye »

Dear All, This is my first post, so hello!!! Can anyone please tell me where I might be able to order a small quantity of cool liquor bottles and/or corks? I would prefer something in the 750 ml range. I have quoted out some larger suppliers, but they all want me to buy a truckload, but I'm not quite there just yet.

Most bars would be happy to let you have a few. They just chunk em out anyway.

Dear Bentjar: thanks, but I was thinking along the lines of new-ish bottles that are at least consistent. I imagine empty ones from a bar would come in all shapes and sizes??

Have you checked the Brewhaus website? They have a nice assortment and are reasonably priced.

Ive collected up some very nice bottles from the recycle bin behind upscale bars. Monday mornings are good for full recycle bins. They are usually missing corks, but you can get a bag of 'tasters corks' from the brewshop for cheap. No idea why they call them that, they are black lid with a cork glued inside and they fit most whiskey bottles perfect.
In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. But in practice there is.
