Don't shake it if you don't need to. Best thing to do is leave it alone and let it do its thing, as long as it's doing its thing all happy like. I snap that lid on the bucket and pop an air lock in it and forget about it. I poke my head in the room when I wake up and when I get home from work, just to make sure I don't have a mess. I used to constantly check on airlocks and get caught up staring, but it just makes things to tempting to mess with things

Like Ron Popeil said.... Set it and forget it.
Only way to drink all day... is to start in the morning

What Black eye said. Look how long it takes for humans to get back to life as normal after an earthquake, imagine how long it takes for the poor little yeast to get back to lunch after you shake or stir them. Lol

I agree, and those yeast are tiny they can get to where they need to be, or want to be with out our help.
