Laying mash

Post by AlaskaHooch »

I have access to a fairly good supply of laying mash and I have heard of making moonshine with it however I can not seem to locate a recipe. Is there such a recipe? and not why?

laying mash has a lot more than grain..

soybean meal, alfalfa leaf meal , mixed grains such as corn, wheat, barley or rye carbohydrates and other vitamins, fish meal or meat scrap for protein , calcium phosphate for calcium, limestone for minerals, and salt.

 Sounds delightful. :wtf:

when i had chickens i used tons of the layer feed. it comes in crumbles or pellet form. never thought about useing for a mash and i doubt youd get little if any convertion to sugar. if you add sugar you mite as well use grain that you no works. if you have scratch grains that will work.i no longer have hens due to the drought last yr. resulting in an invastion of mink and weasels killing the whole flock.
today marks the dawn of a new error.
