Re: Quick fermentation on hard cider
So I got some really good Apple cider from a place I grew up in. It's been clearing out for about a week after it stopped fermenting. I used that Nottingham yeast and was ganna sweeten it to taste with splenda tonight, add the priming sugar, and cap them all off. I made some regular Apple and some cherry Apple. Hopefully it all turns out well! Guess I'll know in a week er so...
the only tho.g about it is its not clearing put very fast, even in the fridge it hasn't settled out like I was expecting. The cider is a little cloudy before the fermenting and it doesn't bother me if its cloudy, but would there be a way to clear it up besides cold? Like gelatin, or something like that? Or just run through a coffee filter before sweetening and priming, then call it good?

..the smarter you get, the more you realize you don't know...
