I've followed the recipies posted here with fantastic results with strawberry , blackberry , and sweet black cherry . SOH and I hit the floor runnin at daybreak this mornin with a lot of Saturday work to get done . It was late in the day when I got around to workin on some blueberry PD that needed attention . Became more work than the others because of them small seeds . Strained them 3 times to get the clear drink that SOH likes . She pitched in to help 2/3rds of the way through the process of straining and blending . We got what we agreed was a great tasting drink , blended all that up , about 3 gallons , and got the kitchen all cleaned up .
Kicked back in our easy chairs to enjoy a glass of our efforts . Mebbie I had 3 or 2 . Anyhow I asked if this was workin as anticipated .
"Mister ,"she said,"it's a good tastin drink but I think you strained the fuck out of them blueberries for THIS evening ."
Guess you can get too dedicated to one hobby at the expense of another ...................................................

LMAO! Buddy , you don't know the half of the adventure I've had sharin life with that big jugged , big butted redhead that ain't afraid to talk back to ANYBODY ! We been pullin on the same end of the rope for nearabout 30 years . My best friend before we ever jumped over the broom and still is . Guarded our lives many times in bad parts of big cities we had to spend the night in while I slept . Had her own 1911 .45 in her lap in 'condition one'.
Ridin up through Chitown one night a truckin friend pulled up beside us and upon seeing her in the jump seat asked over the CB what she was doing there . Her reply was classic ,
"I told him to kiss me where it stinks ; so , the sonofabitch brought me to Chicago !"

+1 Butch! I hated driving in Chicago. I swore when I got outta the Freightshaker that last time that I would NEVER drive Chicago again. I just wish I'd had someone so dependable in the jumpseat with me.

Little update ,
Me an SOH revisited this blueberry PD issue yesterday . She turned 46 last week and I'll be 63 tomorrow . Well rested when we sampled the PD and determined yesterday that we had simply been suffering from fatigue when we first sampled it .
Don't be concerned about straining it too much .

Nawwp . Just approached the samplein after adequate rest on another day . Results were that we put our gorilla suits on and ........................................... Nemmer mind ! That's talkin out of turn .
Bottom line is that you can't ruin the blueberry PD by over filtering it . Just rest up before ya sample it .
