I was born late sixty's and grew up in the 70's and early 80's, so i'll listen to anything from those eras.

Hey Midwest Shinner, here's a song about Hunter S. Thompson you might like. Cheers bro.

Thanks Jimbo. I was very disappointed with "The Rum Diary" movie that came out last year or the year before. Johnny Depp did such a great job potraying him in "Fear and Loathing" that i know his abilities were there, it was just a bad conversion from the fantastic written form to a crappy movie. If Thompson had still been alive he would never have let them slaughter his work like that.I mean it took 2 or 3 directors and 10 years to actually make "Fear and Loathing" because he was such a hothead and loved his work too much to let someone tarnish it with their bad idea of what he intended. I love his passion and honesty, he wasn't afraid to stand up and speak out about anything to anyone. Enough from me though, I'm currently rocking some Flaming Lips, their album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots is one of my favorites. I haven't heard their newset album yet though and that ones sounds like its worth checking out if you're into them at all.

I'm glad you agree. First time I read the Rum Diaries, I was on a train from Chicago to Seattle... great read. I was so looking forward to the movie. They had been working on it for ever. Then it comes out, I go opening night, and it was Dog shit. What I would have done to have a drink with that guy.

This would be the most enduring favourite song in Oz. Everyone over 7 and under 80 would know this song. I don't know if it got popular in the states but here it tends to stir up immense pride in our service personnel and some shame in the disgraceful way return service were treated back then
Hope yaz like it

If I had to pick a HW JR favourite that would be a task , Family traditions would be high up there but maybe Mighty Oak trees, just a damn true as song

I was at this concert and witnessed firsthand why Eddie will never be unthroned!! 5 minutes into this solo and his fret hand was bleeding!! Never missed a beat. Unreal. I lived to see Van Halen with David Lee singing and now can die with a fulfilled life!!

I like Hard Rock, and a lot of Heavy Metal(not all of it).

I can tolerate most other music.

I would rather drink a bottle of bleach than listen to country music, though I admit, every once and awhile, they come out with a song i like to listen to.
