Hi All,
After an absence of 20 years from the homebrew scene I have decided to restart and whilst my cider and mead are on the go I want to learn about the process of distilling alcohol.
Best regards,

Welcome. Was born in Portland, Oregon, USA. I feel your shivers. Portland rivals all but the rainiest, foggiest places on earth.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome (on such a foul day outside).
I have been browsing the forum a few days and found a number of very good articles that have piqued my fancy.
Realise now that I need a large pan to warm my ingredients up with - so going to trawl the local hardware stores.
