Securing a pot lid...the Safe way!

Having been reading the forum for a while now I was rather concerned at some of the ways to secure a pot lid. Yes using bulldog clips or mole grips might seem a good idea but is it fool proof? Can they be dislodged and lead to a serious accident and good bye to a few skin layers possibly??

Hence here is a safer way, easy cheap and secure....this puppies will not budge!...kick your pot up your yard and that lid will stay put. I don't know what these clips are called but I got them in a DIY store , though they are easy to make. Just bend the clip ( as square at first ) so the clip will bite onto the edge of your pot and tighten....but don't go crazy!
