Hi all
have been trawling this forum for ages finally decided to join
I'm from north of melbourne vic. i have a 20lt pot still made of an
old stainless vacola urn running 3/4 copper riser and coil in an ice
bath. I have successfully ran a basic sugar wash of 20lt which yielded about 3
lts nice taste and mixed witha dash of melted maple syrup gives it a lovely
after taste and a dark colour. Currently running two 20lt corn sugar washes
then will flavour and colour with some burnt maple.
hope to have as much input as i can.and what i discover along the way.
cheers

Welcome to the forum. Lots of Aussies here - you should feel right at home. We even got one or two converted to redneckedness. Grits will soon be trendin' in Oz - watch for it.
