Hello again

Post by jroa »

Hi, everyone. I used to be a member of this board around 2003 or 2004. I could not remember my my user name or even the email address that I had at the time, much less my password. So, I created a new account.

I recently got back into wine making, and I hope to brew some beer soon. I recently got divorced, so I can do fun things again.

I also want to get back into distilling. Back when I was a member before, I had a pieced together homemade still. Today, I have the means to buy a real one. I will be researching column stills to see if I can find one I want.

I will probably make a thread asking for recommendations, so don't feel obliged to post them here. Anyway, I hope to recognize some names, and possibly remember my user name so I can go back in time by re-reading my old posts.

I recognize Uncle Jesse. I don't know if he posts any more. Thanks for the welcome! Also, the old lady is out the door.

Welcome back.
Believe it or not you can build a real still instead of buying and save a butload of cash. If it has been that long since you have been here you need to look at some of the designs that have been posted here. And all of them are "real"!!
A.D.D. and HD don't go together. This hobby takes time and dedication to learn and do it right and safe.
Fill the pool before you jump in head first!
