Done allot of reading. Thing I got a good handle on it all but before I go burning my house down can someone please take a look over these diagrams and let me know if everything is hooked up right. I will only be able to run off of 120 for a while but I am over building this thing so It can be switched to 240 at some point.
For those extra helpfull people out there, here is a link to my parts list. Lemme know if im missing anything for this build.

What type of voltmeter are you going to use?

Most likely this one.

To measure voltage after controller you need a voltmeter with separate measurement and sampling circuits. This one use the same input for power supply and for measurement. Non sinus wave will burn it. You can connect voltage line before controller. This way displaying voltage will be equal to your mains voltage but you vill be able to read amps.

Heard/read some stuff about that, but then I seen this video. Got it set to start mid way thru, were he starts talking about that issue. I forget what member posted this vid but I originally found the link here on HD.

I kinda liked the idea of watching the V's change when turning the dial..... not needed tho I guess. Amp's will be enough.
Any suggestions on a voltmeter that can be used after the controller?

I've tested a few similar am/volt meters. They don't burn immediately an can work for 10-15 minutes. They work ok on full power. The worst key scenareio for them is 50% power. You can try it. It's easy to fix them - just replace that big resistor if it burned.

That' my video, I've been running that now for many many runs. Still working just fine. Guess I'm lucky.
